Istanbul Gelisim University Guidance Specialist Yasin Tarhan gave a seminar on “Exam Anxiety and Motivation” to the senior students of Kasımpaşa Anatolian High School. In the seminar held at Istanbul Gelisim University with the participation of 200 students, Tarhan stated that the reasons for exam anxiety and added: “Factors such as inadequate study, high expectations of the family, expectation of the environment, perfectionism, uncertainty may cause anxiety. If we want to keep our anxiety to a minimum, we need to work hard. Learning is the most important factor for motivation.”
After the seminar, the students visited the campus of Istanbul Gelisim University. They asked questions about architecture, engineering and aviation departments during the trip.
